a). About the Data Controller
Pursuant to the Law 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the Law), Akça Kimya is entitled to process your personal data. Akça Kimya is recognized as the data controller in Article 3, paragraph I of the Law.
b). Conditions for Processing Your Personal Data
Your personal data are processed in accordance with the terms stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on processing personal data. The purposes of processing personal data include but are not limited to:
Our goal is to prevent accessing and processing of your personal data unlawfully and to ensure safe protection of your personal data. In order to ensure this, all kinds of technical and administrative measures are taken by Akça Kimya.
c). Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your personal data can be transferred to the affiliates of the Corporation under which Akça Kimya operates, the shareholders of Akça Kimya, its business partners, its suppliers, subcontractors and public bodies and institutions authorized by law, in line with the terms stated in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

d). Means for Collecting Personal Data and the Legal Bases
In order to sustain its operations, Akça Kimya collects your personal data through surveys, websites, Akça Kimya representatives and similar channels; and processes them in accordance with the terms explained in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and the various legal bases therein stated.
e). Your Rights Emanating from the Law on Personal Data
Pursuant to the Law, you are entitled to the following rights concerning your personal data:
1). Learn whether or not your personal data have been processed,
2). Request information about the procedure if personal data have been processed,
3). Learn the purpose of processing of the personal data and whether the data has been used in accordance with that purpose,
4). Know the third parties within the country or abroad to whom personal data have been transferred.
5). Request rectification of the personal data if they have been used incompletely or inaccurately.
6). Request deletion or destruction of the personal data under the conditions set forth under Article 7 of the Law,
7). Request notification of the operations conducted under Articles 5 and 6 to third persons to whom the data are transferred,
8). Object to occurrence of any result that is to her/his detriment by means of analysis of personal data exclusively through automated systems
9). Request compensation for the damages in case the person incurs damages due to unlawful processing of personal data
In order to enjoy the rights listed above, you can submit a written application to Akça Kimya by sending it to the address stated on the application form. If, in the future, Personal Data Protection Board identifies some new methods of application, these methods shall be announced by Akça Kimya.
Your applications will be finalized at the shortest timespan possible, and maximum within 30 days. At the moment, the application procedure is free of charge; if, in the future, Personal Data Protection Board sets a tariff, the holding will be entitled to charge the applicants accordingly.
